Rashtriya Kalyan Yoga Kendra organised District Yoga Championship for Boys and Girls. Five students from our school participated in this competition trianed by Mrs. Hema Bhasin.

This team was successful in bringing laurels to the school with Samarth Sharma in the 8-12 years category and Srishti Mahajan in the 12-15 years category bagging a Gold Medal each amd the school acquired a Trophy.

On the occasion of Janmashtami, the toddlers of CT Public School celebrated the occasion with enthusiasm. The students presented `jhankis' depicting events from Krishna's life. The school wore a festive look on Janmashtami with the students in colourful attires of Radha and Krishna and Sudama being prepared for the `Matki Todh', which happened amidst much enthusiasm.

Independence Day was celebrated in CT Public School with great fervor and reverence. The school orchestra dedicated patriotic songs to the motherland. A beautifully scripted one act play was performed by 85 students depicting how the golden bird India was slaughtered by the British and the struggle of the freedom fighters to free India from their clutches.
The students also presented the post Independence problems like corruption and child labour etc., and pledged to strive hard to regain her lost glory .A student of XI Oliver James presented a patriotic rap song. Sardar Gurdeep Singh Nagra, Councillor was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Jathedar Rajinder Singh, member, Zila Parishad was the Guest of Honour.
Many prominent personalities of the area were also present. The Chief Guest honored Sanuj Batra for his act of bravery for overpowering a dreaded chain snatcher and handing him over to the police.
The Principal of the school, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput congratulated everyone on this occasion and urged the students to remember the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and inspired them to serve the nation by moving on the path of righteousness.
Aug 14, 2014Punjab Education Board District Lawn Tennis tournament was held in MGN Public School, Urban Estate II from 11th to 13th August, 2014 in which 8 teams from Jalandhar participated namely Cambridge International, MGN UE, MGN Adarsh Nagar, Apeejay School, Ivy World, Little Blossom, Police DAV Public School and CT Public School.

Three students from our school participated as a team (Kiran Rajput, Diksha Thakur and Shweta Kaushal) in Under 17 Category and came out as DISTRICT WINNER by beating MGN UE in the final match. The Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput extented her heartiest congratulations to the winners and the coach of the team, Miss. Bhawna for their glorious victory.
Aug 13, 2014It was a moment of great honour for CT Public School to host the Swimming competition for the year 2014 – 15.
As many as 30 schools coming under the aegis of Sahodaya Independent Schools Complex participated enthusiastically in this mega event exhibiting their competence and strength. CT Public School got the second position in the competition.
Ranjana Rajput, Principal, CT public School congratulated the winning teams and their teachers. In her presidential address, she said, "The sports activities are losing their significance as the electronic goods are creeping into society due to globalization and it is the responsibility of the young generation to restore it."
National Ball Hockey Tournament was held at Indore in which Kamalpreet Singh of XI Com B participated and won 2nd Position.

Aug 10, 2014Talking of Achievements, we at CTPS proudly boast of a Principal who herself is a fore- runner in the field of education. Our Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput got Bhartiya Shikshak Samman by Avantika. She is a Principal with a mission and aspires to provide wholesome education to the children so that they become successful and productive citizens of a great nation.
Festivals are the celebration of togetherness as being as a united family and the festival, “Raksha Bandhan” is not an exception of this.
C T Public School elaborately by conducting a special morning assembly to remind the students about the significance of this festival.
Rakhi making competition for KG class and Greeting card making competition for classes I-V was organized in which the students participated whole heartedly.
Handmade Rakhis and selfmade rakhi cards were a representation of the personal feelings of the siblings which strongly bind brothers and sisters in the circumference of mutual love and trust.
The principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput appreciated the august performance and earnest efforts of the participants and blessed the winners for clinching laurels to the school

An Inter House Group Song Competition was organized in CT Public School. The theme of the competition was patriotic. The four houses prepared their song with great dedication and commitment under the guidance of their music teacher Mrs. Rashmi Kohli and Mr. Harsimar Singh.
Marigold House was the winner of the competition followed by Jasmine House which stood second. Both Rose and Lotus House stood third. All the houses performed exceptionally well. They were adjudged on the basis of melody, rhythm and presentation. Vice Principal, Mr. Sethi congratulated the winners and the strenuous efforts of the house masters and exhorted the need for harmony in the country where people should stand united irrespective of caste and religion.
Inter House Volleyball (Girls) and Kho-Kho (Boys) Competitions were held in CT Public School. These competitions were played with great zeal and enthusiasm.
In the volleyball competition, the girls of Marigold House secured the top notch, followed by Lotus House and in the Kho-Kho competition, the boys of Lotus House won followed by Marigold house which stood second.
Both the matches were very interesting and well played. Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput congratulated the teams for their achievement and team spirit.

Jul 21, 2014An exemplary feat of bravery was exhibited by a gallant and chivalric young boy of CT Public School when he overpowered a dreaded chain snatcher. Sanuj Batra, a student of XII of Commerce Stream had accompanied his aunt, Mrs. Shabana Batra on his scooter to the market, when a routine chain snatcher, Bharpoor Singh, indicted in twelve cases of snatching and wanted by the police, grabbed her gold chain and fled. Possessing great presence of mind and grit. The brave lad told his aunt to get down and he trailed the imposter who took a lane towards Charanjitpura. There, the culprit was subdued and with the help of the people caught him and handed him over to the police. The commissioner of Police, eulogized Sanuj Batra’s heroic deed and awarded him an Appreciation Certificate.
A social worker, Mr. Ashok Sharma recommended his name for the National Award. His courageous and dauntless deed set a role model for the students to face anti-social elements, if they are encountered by, with courage and bravery and be an asset to the society. Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput congratulated Sanuj for his noteworthy and valourous endeavor and honoured him.
The sizzling heat of June keeps the residents indoors and makes them lethargic but when schools organize Summer Camps on the campus, the children break all the restraints and shackles of their homes and like the mice of Pied Piper of Hamelin, converge in the school premises to steal moments of fun and joy and learn new things taught to them in an informal environment. The Guests of Honour for the occasion was Ms. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions.
With the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, the camp for the junior age group began with the sprinkling of blossoms and a round of applause. Beginning with playing legendary games and splashing water in the swimming pool the little children let their foot go loose on the music. The main attraction of the camp is Adventure Club where students enjoyed the rope climbing etc.The children actively participated in these activities and learnt many useful things to enhance their personality and improve their skills.
Co-chairperson Ms. Parminder Kaur Channi and the Principal of CT Public School, Ms. Ranjana Rajput congratulated the participants of the Summer Camp for their overwhelming response and thanked the teachers for their co-operation. She also stressed upon the need of extracurricular activities in the school for the personality grooming and building of character. One learns co-operation, various new skills and utilization of various resources in such well organized camps.
Its is a matter of proud for all CTians that Tejasvi Aggarwal of our school qualified AIPMT, 2014. She got 546 rank.

The sizzling heat of the summer which forces one to remain indoors could not bind the students of CT Kindergarten as a wonderful, entertaining and exciting summer camp was organized for them.
The tiny-tots could not refrain themselves from participating in the camp as it promised them a lot of entertainment which would teach them to utilize their holidays fruitfully.
The students attired in colourful garbs participated enthusiastically and learnt many creative things in craft classes. Children enjoyed dips and splashes in the cool waters of the swimming pool.
The main attraction was the Adventure Zone. This camp was systematically organized and well-coordinated with the sincere efforts of the Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput and the staff members. The parents greatly applauded the efforts of the school which always initiates to generate good values to their wards through curricular and co-curricular activities.
Grandparents Day was celebrated in CT Kindergarten to convey to the Grandparents that their presence in the families are great blessing as they guide and direct the family members to the right path by radiating good values of love , care and compassion. Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co- chairperson of CT Group and Mrs. Amarjit Kaur graced the occasion.
They were ushered a warm and genial welcome with a shower of petals and were presented cards. The entrance was decorated with beautiful cards made by the tiny tots expressing their love and gratitude to their grandparents.
They were welcomed to the school with handmade badges. A group song and dance prepared by the tiny tots marked the occasion. Thanks giving speech was presented emphasizing their importance of grandparents in the lives of the little ones.
A myriad of games and activities were conducted for the grandparents to make their day a memorable one and to enable them to take a dip in their yester years and to enjoy the essence of youth. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput, Principal, shared her views highlighting the role of grandparents. She said that what the children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give the little ones unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort and lessons in life as these days’ parents don’t have time in today’s competitive age.
