Continuing with its tradition of preserving environment and having eco-friendly activities, our school conducted tree plantation programme in collaboration with Dainik Bhaskar. Trees are important, necessary and valuable to our existence. It's not too hard to believe that without trees we humans would not exist on this beautiful planet. Unfortunately, our need for trees is more than ever. While science and technology has provided us with many comforts, the consequent urbanization and industrialization also has had some undesired side-effects; Global Warming being one of those. This event served the dual purpose of education and entertainment for the students besides also contributing to the welfare of nature.
Our school conferred with International School Award by British Council.

CT Public School launched a drive to awaken the people to take up the responsibility of protecting Mother Earth. With this holistic approach, CT Public School celebrated Global Technology Week from 1st to 6th June to train the children to exercise their cognitive abilities and skills to create projects of Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences and these projects were showcased in an exhibition.
In this era of advanced technology where man is solely focused to gain profits, he has forgotten his accountability towards the planet. Today, nature has started reacting violently to man’s callous and ruthless destruction of the eco-system that supports all forms of life. Plundering the earth’s natural resources, to meet the demands of the present scientific age, has left us with no choice but to ponder on the bitter and harsh reality that our indiscriminate activities are consistently causing harm to nature. Instead of a rich environment, we shall be bequeathing wasteland as a legacy to the future generation, which in reality belongs to them. Therefore, as caretakers of their property, the onus lies on us to keep it conserved and protected for future generations.
Mr. Balwinder Singh, Deputy Director, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus was the Guest of Honour. Principals from various schools of Jalandhar and parents were also present to witness the projects created to awaken the masses. The projects were evaluated by the judges.
The tiny tots of CT Kindergarten had a gala time at the Summer Camp which included many fun-filled activities like ball games, dance and swimming. The sizzling heat of the summer was quashed by the adventurous and thrilling summer camp organized by CT Public School from 1st to 6th June. The blistering hot weather constraints the children to remain indoors but the summer festivities and entertainment in the camp forces them to unleash their darkened spirits and get attracted to the school.
The camp was named as 'Global Technology Week' organized with the motive to train the children to exercise their cognitive ability and skills to create projects of Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences. The camp also included various activities along with taking a splash in the swimming pool and tap-dancing on the beats of music and getting a whiff of adventure.Techniques of mastering football and basketball games were also imparted to the students. The children enjoyed the camp to a great extent and were powered with knowledge and experience.

The scorching heat of the summers is rendering the people of Jalandhar to take refuge in their AC homes and offices, taking refrigerated drinks and refreshing fruits. However the mute creatures of God like birds and animals are left open to face the brunt of the fiery sun and in order to bring solace to these homeless creatures, CT Group of institutions launched a programme “Dana Pani” an initiative by Danik Bhasker in which more than 2500 students from CT Group of Institutions participated. The students brought earthen pots for the birds to drink water and quench their thirst. The students also distributed earthen pots at traffic signals, spreading a message to the masses to feed the birds who are succumbing to the heat as they have no place to perch. Cities are turning treeless, water levels are receding, temperature is soaring and the only creature responsible for all this is man. The Chairman of CT Group of Institutions S. Charanjit Singh Channi and Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput blessed the children for this noble cause and showing tenderness and concern towards the puny and dumb creatures who are struggling for survival.
"A leader is one who does not care about his rank and role but remains always responsive to lead, shoulder responsibility, and achieve the goal in such a way that everyone, in and outside the team, respects him for touching their revered souls."

The changing life style of the society has brought a drastic change in food habits of the people. In this competitive age, when parents are busy in fulfilling the demands of their family, they fail in providing healthy home-made food to their wards. As a result the children get attracted to junk food which is again harmful for them.
Dental problems have been noticed among the growing children because of which CT Public School took up the initiative to teach oral hygiene to the students and also have a thorough dental check up by renowned dental surgeons of the city.
