World Aids Day observed annually on December 1st, is dedicated to raising awareness to the Aids caused by the spread of HIV infection. Our school observed this event by involving young students in the awareness campaign. Our students actively participate in spreading awareness and believes that the future generation has the ability to sensitize others and prevent spread of HIV.

Annual Prize Distribution was organized in C T Public School with great gaiety and devotion. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, C T Group of Institutions. The programme began with Shabad Gayan to invoke the Almighty to shower His grace on the students, followed by the lighting of the lamp.
Mrs. Ranjana Rajput presented the Annual Report of the school The theme of the Annual Function was C T's Disney World. The tiny tots enthralled the audience with their performances like fancy dress,song,aerobics,rain dance,, Arabian dance and not to miss , Bhangra, the very essence of Punjab. Lotus House bagged the Cultural Trophy for its outstanding performance in various competitions in the school. Marigold House bagged the first position in academics. The Chief Guest honoured the students who excelled in academics. The Management of CT Institutions congratulated the students and the staff for the successful runway of the programme.

S. Shamsher Singh and Mr. Ramesh Kumar from Traffic Department counselled all present by telling them to wear helmets, carry their RC’s, driving license, pollution certificate, Insurance etc. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput, the Principal, CT Public School inspired the students to retain and follow these rules as life is precious.

Prerit Dutta of our school has selected for PCA U-19 State Team. He is first school player from jalandhar to be a part of both One-dayers and Days cricket of Punjab State Team. He is selected for his good performance during Inter State One Day Tournament held last month.Now Punjab Team is going to take part in BCCI All India Inter State U-19 Tournament.

Halloween is celebrated all over the world on 31st October to ward off Evil. The students of CT Kindergarten wore Halloween costumes and painted their faces. They lit Jack–O-lanterns and got sweets. The students were told about the importance of the day.

Students earnestly contributed in Science Carnival “Vigyan Uday’ organized by CT Group of Institutions in which 1800 students from different 40 schools of Punjab gathered. The carnival was dedicated to Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and was based on ‘Knowledge is Power’ theme. CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT) bagged the overall trophy of IK Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU) Zonal Youth Festival 2015 for North Zone while the first Runners-up trophy of the youth fest was won by DAV Institute of Engineering, Management & technology (DAVIET). Giddha and International Group Dances stole the show on the last day of the Youth Festival on October 18, 2015 at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus.
The concluding day witnessed the vibrant performances in Western Solo, Western Group Song, Giddha, International Group Dance and the final prize distribution function of the youth fest. This year, the theme of the festival is Make in India while it is dedicated to Martyr S. Kartar Singh Sarabha. The festival had 27 different types of competitions throughout three days. In the fest 815 students from 15 colleges participated including Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engineering & Technology (SBBSIET), CT Institute of Technology (CTIT), CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology (CTIEMT), Baba Farid College of Engineering & Technology (BFCET), Dav Institute of Engineering & Technology (DAVIET), Giani Zail Singh College of Engineering & Technology (GZSCET), Rayat Bahra Institute of Engineering & Technology (RBIET) and many more.
S. Pargat Singh (MLA, Jalandhar Cantonment) was the chief guest for the day. He appreciated IKG PTU and CT Group of Institutions for organizing the youth festival successfully. He congratulated the management of the Institutions for providing wonderful assistance to the university in hosting this mega event at their campus.
In his address, S. Pargat Singh said participation by the students in such youth festivals is very important and students must participate in extra-curricular activities as it provided a proper platform to showcase their talent. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Harpreet Singh (Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) felicitated S. Pargat Singh (MLA, Jalandhar Cantonment) and other dignitaries for gracing the event with their presence.
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) appreciated and thanked the participating colleges across the North Zone for thundering and note worthy performances. He also expressed his warm greeting to all teams and inspired them to learn and achieve more in their life.
Euphoria and jubilation reflected on the victorious Jalandhar Under – 19 cricket team for having carved a niche for themselves for lifting the Champions Trophy at the State level tournament organized by Punjab School Education Board in Ludhiana. All the districts from Punjab took part in this tournament. The Jalandhar team paved the path to the finals after defeating Barnala, Fazilka, Ferozepur, and Patiala.
The Jalandhar team became champions for the second time in a row after defeating the Patiala team in the finals. Eleven CT Public School players were a part of this unbeatable team. In the finals, Jalandhar won the toss and decided to bat and scored174 runs in 25 overs. Damandeep Singh was successful in making 75 runs and Gourav Choudhary scored 29 unbeaten runs. In their reply, Patiala team was bundled out on 89 runs in 18 overs only. Damandeep Singh and Nimish Dhawan took three wickets each while Dimple Badhan seized two wickets. The Chairman of CT Group of Institutions, Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi and the Management congratulated the team and the coach Mr. Vikas Chadha for their stupendous performance at the state Level.
