Best out of Waste Challenge VI-VIII classes

Creativity, as has been said consists largely of rearranging what we know in order to find out what we do not know hence, to think creativity, we must be able to look afresh at what we normally take for granted’’. George Kneller.

 

 

Best out of waste is one such craft which follows this environmental friendly principle and at the same time creates useful objects out of waste products. In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘ Best out of waste’ challenge was given to the students of classes VI-VIII. Little hands and imagination minds came together in a creative burst of energy Mind- blowing, beyond expectation, fabulous ideas were demonstrated by students. They prepared very creative and innovative art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like news papers, disposable plates and much more.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Daljeet Singh, Principal of the school remarked that It was amazing to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles.

Challenge 3: Culinary Skills (VI-VIII)

Sound health is a product of healthy cooking! To make students aware of this fact, Culinary Challenge was given to the students of Classes VI to VIII.Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm as they doled out nutritious yet delectable delicacies. Young Chefs prepared fruits salads, sandwiches, healthy shakes, cakes in an artistic and aesthetic style. The challenge not only provided a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision making skills but also helped them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest. Vice Principal, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the talent exhibit by the students. The Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh stressed upon the necessity and advantages of healthy eating to the students.

Challenge 2: Powerpoint Presentation (VI-VIII)

With the objective to encourage the competitive spirit amongst the students and to update their academic knowledge, a Power Point Presentation Challenge was given to the students of Classes VI-VIII. The topic of the Power Point Presentation was "How to stay positive in life".

 


The technology lovers presented the topic in a beautiful manner. The motive of this Challenge was to enhance the technical minds, thinking skills, creativity skills and skills of presenting the topic. The Principal of the School, Mr. Daljeet Singh encouraged students to participate in the challenge which will increase their creative and technical skills.

Art is a great way to help kids express themselves, get their energy out, and have fun, all at the same time. Having some easy-to-do art projects on hand and ready to go is a great way to help your kids relieve stress and take control of a small part of their lives. Kavya and Krisha of Sixth Adorable finds regular time for art, and a dedicated space to do as it can be an empowering activity for them during uncertain times.

The lighting of diyas forms a part of celebrations and rituals of any festival.

Little Progress each day give good results.

We in CT Public School enables children to pay attention on all four skills i.e. reading writing speaking and listening. To achieve the desired results we must set aside a little corner in our house that is completely devoted to writing which must be dedicated solely for writing and enable our children from distractions. Our children shall be more focused on practicing writing skills, aesthetic skills . Children of 7B :Harkirat,Diksha,Pavneet has shown their Art skills on the other hand Ekamjot is showing his art work on the blades of A Fan which is very unique too.

She learned to cook cakes and other desserts at home along with her study assignments which is highly appreciable.

Activities done by Students during Lockdown Period

Ordinary people think merely of spending time. Great people think of using it.

Children of CT PUBLIC SCHOOL are aware of the significance of time.They are utilising their time well.They aren’t wasting their precious days off - there are many, things they are doing to occupy themselves. They are learning their online lessons prepared by their competent teachers.They are learning new skills. The holidays are a great time for them to spend on self-improvement. They are devoting their time to activities such as dancing, playing the piano, swimming learning ,reading ,household chores, cooking, etc. At CT ,we believe that the more skills you have, the more opportunities are open to you.


They are using time to read books. Any book can help expand your vocabulary and creative writing abilities..They are getting chores and tasks done.
We train our children to be determined never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much can be done if we are always doing. CT pians are

usingy time wisely. Time is what we want most, so let us not use it worst. ..

These children are keeping themselves busy with some task.Art activities always inspire the children to keep themselves busy. The children are making the efficient use of this time and are bringing out their creativity to life. Not only art and craft activities but other activities like academic also help the children to keep them self involved then they have nothing to do. Children remain in touch with studies and next they show better result when they will go to their next class.

Annual result declaration day conducted digitally

“Result declaration day is very important to know the strengths and weaknesses of students in academic performance. It also provides us the platform for further improvement in the teaching-learning process of our students.”
Despite of total lockdown ,the young CTpians unlocked their smiles by producing the best academic results in examination held for the session 2019-20.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The results were declared digitally and the parents were extremely delighted to share these beautiful moments with pictures with their wards at home.

Kudos to Samarth Sharma

 Samarth Sharma, the student of our school, took part in an exciting football match which was played in a befitting manner in the field. In the match, he bagged second position and won 9000 rs cash money.. The match was full of excitement. Both teams tried their best to win. Both of them were equally strong and showed their excellent skill and performance.

Phoolon ki Holi

 Keeping their tradition alive CT Public School celebrate Holi in Eco friendly way with flowers and organic colours. The teachers and the little ones in the hostel celebrated the festival inside the school premises and spread a very strong message to others.


Starting with the celebrations first all worshipped lord Jagannath and then all took part in Holli celebrations.Then after started the celebrations with eco friendly way where the students and teachers used flowers to play.

Women's Day celebrations

Here's to strong women, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them.”

Holi is considered as one of the most revered and celebrated festivals of India and it is celebrated in almost every part of the country. It is also sometimes called as the “festival of love” as on this day people get to unite together forgetting all resentments and all types of bad feeling towards each other.

International Women’s Day (8 March) is all about celebrating the many social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women throughout history. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to teach kids of all ages about gender equality.
Here’s a look on how International Women’s Day and Holi celebrated at school (

Ms. #Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated everyone on this big daysaid that we must celebrate the essence of all the amazing ladies out there, she said, International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8, every year. Celebrated since the early 1900s, International Women’s Day also promotes gender equality and equal opportunities for women. So, whether she is your best friend, your mother, your daughter or your wife, there is no denying that women play a special role in all walks of life and makes life colourful.

Book Fair in CTPS

 Live our children ACCESS to books and the OPPORTUNITY to choose what they want to read.

Keeping this in mind ,CT Public School organised a book fair at school Reception on the PTM on 8th February,2020. This fair was a celebration of reading and offered our children,parents and staff a selection of affordable books, including the newest titles for every reading level. The parents along with their kids attended the school Book fair and got a jump on their children’s reading plans.
They purchased a variety of books on Science,Literature,Encyclopedia,Fiction and many more.The Principal,Mr.Daljeet Rana motivated all to develop in themselves the habit of resding as he believes that reading makes a man. A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.The man who never reads lives only one.

Birthday Celebrations

CT Public School students have been asked to plant saplings on their birthdays to give birth to a green future. Children were excited. Today *Gurtaj singh* student of class IInd adorable of CT Public School, was lucky that he could plant a sapling on his birthday today. Principal Mr *Daljeet Rana* and Vice principal *Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur* said this move had caught the imagination of children. Already, hundreds of birthday saplings had been planted since the campaign had started on school campus.

Felicitations to Well Mannered Students

Good manners can be described as behaviour of a person with other people, with courtesy and politeness. Good manners transform a human being into a civilized human being. Good manners define a behavioural pattern which is socially accounted and acceptable as well as respected. Today the students from classes 1 to5 were declared as Well Mannered students.Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mr Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated the students and further said thatTeaching good manners to the children is a process which is nearly associated with the overall development of their personality.

 Child first learns manners at home through his elders, he sees them while they are present in the home, from the instructions and examples which we give to him, a basic understanding is developed in his mind that how should I behave and interact with others.

Inter class Poem Recitation Competition

'Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular'

Inter class Poem Recitation Competition was organized in CT Public School by English teachers as a language enrichment activity between grade VI Achievers and Adorable. Students participated with great energy and came up with their tremendous expression through their words and props. Students recited the poems of various well known writers and imparted their knowledge about them. Perfect accent and pronunciation was commendable. Participants were encouraged by their fellow beings and their teachers to elevate their confidence. The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana appreciated an initiative taken by English faculty and students for their efforts.

Felicitations to the winners of Drawing and Caption Writing Competition

CT Public School participated in Drawing and Caption Writing Competition organised by Pushpa Gujral Science City in collaboration with the Department of Forests and Wildlife Preservation on 3rd February,2020 .As many as 15 CBSE schools participated in the competition.The theme of the event was ,”Wetlands and Biodiversity.”It is a matter of great delight that 20 CTpians participated and brought laurels to the alma mater by achieving 1st and 2nd positions in the contest. First position was bagged by the school hostel student,Gurjot kaur of class 7A and second position was bagged by Yuvika of the same class,7A. We are proud of our achievers and wish them best of luck for their future endeavours.
