Alumni School Visit

Getting back to school after years of graduating instils a sense of pride, joy and nostalgia. Ashmeen, Prabhjot Kaur, Ishu Talwar, Didar Singh and Nimish Kochar, alumni of CT Public School, visited the school campus and met their teachers who helped in shaping their lives and building their career. They visited their classrooms, sat in their desks and tried to relive their beautiful time spent in their alma mater.They had a heart to heart conversation with their teachers and shared those golden moments of childhood. They visited their little hideouts, canteen, searched the faces of the watchmen, helpers and gardeners who used to be there during their times and took pictures of their favourite places and their teachers. Principal, Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur greeted them warmly and blessed them for their future ventures.

Commendable efforts of Supervisors

Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a group to achieve a common goal or to complete a task in the most effective and efficient way.This concept is seen within the greater framework of a team, which is a group of interdependent individuals who work together towards a common goal.Teams need to be able to leverage resources to be productive.Teamwork is present in any context where a group of people are working together to achieve a common goal.We are fortunate enough to have a very Hardworking and Dedicated Team of our Supervisors with us. In every field like Transport, Civil, Security, HR, Supporting staff, Mess, Hostel and Admin our supervisors are doing an excellent job.

 

Together we can do wonders. We are Team CT. 

Women's Day Celebrations

 The International Women's Day brings many things for women- a cause for celebration, a reason to pause and reevaluate a remembrance, an inspiration and a time to honour, loved and admired. To honour womanhood CT Educational society celebrated the International Women Day on Monday, 8 march in Maqsudan campus. To make the moment memorable the campus was given a look of floral elegance and theme based charts with the artistic minds of the Activity Incharge.The whole female staff was honoured by principal sir, vice principal Ma'am.  Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana addressed that there should be a balance between career and family and without a family support a woman cannot achieve success.He further added that gender equality is very important for a healthy society which will further result in overall development of nation and its community.

Farewell to Ms. Manpreet Kaur

Ms. Manpreet Kaur, a proud faculty of CT Public School was given a tearful farewell. Ms. Manpreet Kaur worked as a front office executive. She was a dedicated and hardworking person and had been serving this institution for the past two years. Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur blessed her and thanked Ms. Manpreet for her commendable services to the school.

Team building training session on RELATIONSHIPS and EGO Management

An interactive session was conducted on 25 February, 2021,by Mr. Rishabh Sharma, corporate trainer CT University , in CT Public School. He explained that the team seems to have lost some of its energy and motivation, and morale is beginning to drop. So, he tried to get the teachers back on track by exploring some team building strategies and activities. The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana appreciated him by saying that team building is about providing the skills, training and resources that we need, so that we can work in harmony. But, to be truly effective, it needs to be a continual process, embedded into our team and organization's culture.

The Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur further added that we should be direct towards our vision and mission and must develop strong team skills.  

Activity on Say No to Junk Food

In the modern times children are more inclined to eat junk food.
They avoid eating healthy food and enjoy junk food ,which is not good for the health. So an activity was conducted in school where children should eat fruits which is good for the health. This activity was very helpful for the children as they got motivated to eat fruits which are very nutritious for the health and growth.

Even the parents were very enthusiastic, that such type of activities should be on the regular basis which helps their children to eat healthy food rather then consuming junk food. 

Mathematics Activity

 Students learn math best when they approach the subject as something they enjoy. Speed pressure, timed testing and blind memorization pose high hurdles in the pursuit of math.

So to make the subject enjoyable, an activity on triangles, related to medians was conducted in online class for standard 7th by Maths Teachers Ms Sarbjit and Ms Tamana to clarify the concept to students. They understood it well and thoroughly enjoyed, doing it with their own heads.

PTM of Kindergarten

PTM of Kindergarten was conducted in the school as the responsibilities of teachers has really grown up in this covid period time as they have to boost the academic and morale of the children to remain in the same competitive spirit while sitting at home and this miraculous work has been made possible by the stupendous efforts done by the teachers of C T Public School and the precious pearls of words spoken by the parents in their testimonials remained the evidence of the hard work done by the teachers. Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and vice principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur further added that the flow of imparting the education amongst students has not been deteriorated even by 1% during this covid time but it has been boost up by number of times as more number of children those who were introvert ,have very smartly started showcasing their talents on social medias. Their moral in education and learning reaches at high spirits. 

 

 

Motivational Session for Board Class Students

The teachers of CT Public School took a motivational session of toppers of class X. The HODs discussed the forthcoming board exams and inspired them to work hard and discussed techniques for how to attempt the papers to score well.

 

 

 

Attempting the question paper properly in the 10th board examinations can help them score high marks. Paper presentation is an important aspect and they must attempt the paper in a way that not only makes an impact on the checker but also makes him read your paper easily which will help them to score well. The teachers gave them tips and tricks to excel and achieve their goals. Principal, Mr Daljeet Singh motivated the students and blessed them to reach the pinnacle of success. 

Kudos to Karishma Rana

 Karishma Rana, a proud cricket sportsperson of class XII from CT Public School got selected in the Punjab Women Senior Cricket Team Camp held at Mohali till 28th February. She is one of the top 20 selected players of JDCA to get training in the IS Bindra Cricket Stadium by renowned coaches of Punjab Cricket Association. CTPS always stresses on the physical fitness of the children and motivate them to take up games and sports. The Management of CT Public School congratulates Karishma Rana, for her exemplary feat and bless her for a bright future ahead.

Reading is a useful pastime because people can learn a lot. We can learn many important and useful facts and improve our understanding of English language too. ... In addition to books we can also read newspapers. Books are a way that we can easily communicate our ideas and keep them safe.

As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role in society. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society. For making reading more interesting we give different activities to students from time to time like making book mark book covers & also writing book reviews.

Basant Celebrations

All the tiny tots were dressed in yellow as the colour yellow showers the brightness after harsh winters.As the sun was bright and children relished the food by sharing with their friends. A change in vicinity of nature is always fun for kids. They had great time today with lot of activities on this Basant celebration.
