Global Handwashing Day Celebrated At CTPS

October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.

This day aims to make people around the world aware of the importance of washing their hands with soap in order to prevent diseases and infections. To commemorate this special day, CT Public School organized an activity in which the students of grades 3rd and 4th participated enthusiastically.
Worthy Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of the students. She said that this global campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of hand-washing with soap as a key factor to disease prevention.She further added that with proper handwashing, respiratory and intestinal diseases can be reduced by 25 to 50%.

Firsthand Information About Parents' Concerns To Principal by CTPS Senior Wing T

A meeting was conducted by Worthy Principal ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel with the Senior Faculty members of CT Public School after Parent-Teacher Meeting to discuss matters that require higher-level decision-making.
The teachers provided the consolidate feedback from all the subject teachers to the parents about the overall performance of their wards.
The teachers provided the feedback of parents after PTM to Ma'am and addressed important issues, raised by parents, related to school and their child's education.
Principal ma'am implemented recommendations and offered additional support to teachers, fostering the growth and success of the students.

Meeting of Heads of Supporting Staff with Principal At CTPS

A meeting was conducted today by worthy Principal ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel to foster a sense of unity and team work between the school staff and supporting staff. She addressed all the incharges of supporting staff and discussed the challenges, issues, concerns and emphasized to collaborate on solutions.
She said that these regular meetings would help hold staff accountable for their responsibilities and ensure that everyone is working towards the school objectives.

Worthy Principal Ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel conducted a meeting of Primary Wing Teachers after Parent-Teacher Meeting to address any issues that have arisen during the PTM. She discussed all the specific concerns or questions asked by parents related to their child's academic and behavioural progress.She took feedback from all the teachers and ensured to resolve all the issues and concerns of the parents.

The First Science Exhibition At CT Public School; A Tribute To Dr. APJ Abdul Kal

To nurture young CTPIANS' mind and instill a passion for science and learning, the Science department, under the able guidance of Worthy Principal ma'am , Mrs Anuradha Chandel , organised the first 'Science Exhibition' during Parent- Teacher meeting on 14th October, 2023.

It bridged the gap between theory and practical application, reinforcing their classroom learning.The students participated actively in the learning process and explored scientific concepts like Waste management , Solar system,Chandrayan, Germination of seeds, Water cycles, Human body systems, Drip irrigation system , Plant cell Animal cell, Water dispenser and many more. They learned from each others projects.
The students explained their projects to the visitors very well.Their efforts were appreciated for planning and executing of Science projects.
The students received a monetary award from Honourble Chairman Sir, Sr.Charanjeet Singh ji Channi, that boosted their self confidence. Worthy Principal Ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel congratulated the participants and their teachers for exhibiting creative and innovative designs and updating latest scientific advancements and technologies.

CULINARY SKILLS OF YOUNG CTPIANS ; EXPLORING THE WORLD OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES

"Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking. It's about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity."
CT Institute organized 'Junior Master Chef competition, Season-1' for the students of CT Public School for classes 6th to10th. This contest was a valuable experience that taught them about food preparation and nutrition.The students worked in teams and felt self esteemed and confident as they received feedback and recognition for their efforts. It encouraged the young chefs to think creatively, experiment with flavours and create unique dishes.
Worthy Principal Ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel appreciated their culinary skills, passion for cooking and creativity in kitchen. The Meeting of CT Class Representatives ( VI to XII) with Principal Ma'am

The first meeting of the Class Representatives of grades VI to XII after mid term exams, was conducted with worthy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel on 11th October, 2023.
It was about how to take responsibilities in a positive manner. The guidelines for the second term were given to them by Principal ma'am.
She addressed the issues such as Improvement in communication skills, discipline in the class and academic concerns.
The monitors conveyed their concerns and suggestions to Ma'am and discussed ideas for improving school environment. It has built trust and a sense of inclusivity between students and administration.

The students of CT Public School from Grades VI to X, participated in CBSE Reading Challenge Competition, round 2.
Worthy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of the students and said that strong reading skills are crucial in all subjects which provide students a foundation for academic achievement.
These competitions enhance their vocabulary, comprehension and critical thinking skills, which are essential for their academic success.

Career Counseling Session of CTIANS at District Bureau of Employment

To empower the senior students of CT Public School, worthy Principal ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel managed to send the passionate students to the District Bureau of Employment to attend an interactive session on career counseling.

The enlightening career counseling session was hosted by District Bureau of Employment, on October 9, 2023, aimed at providing valuable guidance and insights to school students on their future career paths.

It was attended by numerous enthusiastic students from local schools, led by seasoned career counselors, Mr. Gurmail Singh & Mr. Navdeep with ample of experience in the field, the session was a resounding success.

The Key topics discussed during the session included self-assessment, exploring diverse career options, educational and training requirements, insights into current job market trends, and goal-setting strategies. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation from students through group discussions, and Q&A segments.

The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing newfound clarity and confidence in their career choices.  The District Bureau of Employment expressed its gratitude to the dedicated career counselors, the participating students, and all those involved in organizing this valuable session.

The phenomenal Bhangra team of CT Public School participated in Sahodaya competition and won the consolation prize. Their passion, energy and unity on the dance floor was really remarkable. This victory is a testament to their relentless dedication and countless hours of practice under the guidance of their coach Mr. Vimal Kumar.

Alignment With Various Departments of CTPS with Principal

To ensure that all the departments align their efforts with CT Public school's mission and goals, a meeting of it's first kind was conducted on 7th October, 2023, by worthy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel with the heads of the various departments like transport, hostel, supporting staff, admin staff, security staff, mess staff etc.
She took feedback from all of them and evaluated their strategies to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding school policies, goals and initiatives.
She said that regular interdepartmental meetings lead to sharing of ideas, resources and expertise, fostering a more cohesive and efficient working environment.

CIRCLE TIME WITH HONOURABLE PRINCIPAL MA'AM

Children experience freedom when they play outside.* Outdoor play is a natural way for the children of all ages. It's good for all kids to have good health and well-being to be physically active through play.
UKG classes conducted an outdoor game under the guidance of worthy Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel in which the students played game with their friends how pair the numbers with fellow partner.
It's a game that doesn’t require any material and engages individuals with good listening and being active.
This game introduces a number concept and all participants must listen carefully and so they can act quickly when it is called out.
The students had great fun together with their friends playing outdoors.Games are good for the physical development of small kids.This activity was conducted to release the boredom of students . The teachers also had fun with kids outside. It was an amazing stress buster.

EXPLORING TECHNOLOGY

UKG class students had a great time in computer lab today .The students were made aware of different parts of computer.
Computers also foster critical thinking and creativity. Digital drawing tools or music composition software allow children to express their ideas. Case studies show that creative software can boost a child's creativity. This turns a laptop for kindergarten students into a canvas for their imagination.

Activity on Gandhi Jayanti

-The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' was launched by our Worthy Prime Minister,Sh.Narendra Modi on 2nd October 2014. It was an initiative taken to fulfill the dream of Mahatma Gandhi to make India clean and green.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of our 'Father of Nation', Mahatma Gandhi, CTPIANS fondly remember his ideologies about cleanliness which is called Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The students of CT Public School, under the guidance of our honourble Principal Ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel, made the posters on Swach Bharat Mission to mark the great accomplishments which is proved to be one of the best projects in the history of India. We will certainly carry forward the practices of cleanliness with the same enthusiasm and zeal and help each other by keeping our Mother India clean and beautiful.

Fun after Exams

CT Kindergarten today concluded mid term examination. It was a great time for the students after the examination. The students rocked on the dance floor with music and had fun in the campus after the examination was over. The Cheering faces of the students could be seen with lot of joy, happiness and enthusiasm. The students were relaxed as their hectic schedule of examination was over and now again they will continue with their regular second term studies.
So,fun is one of the most important and underrated ingredients in any successful venture.

Session on Classroom Management skills

CT Public School organised one interactive session for its educators to polish their classroom management skills . Ms . Pallavi Singh educator who has 12 years of experience in teaching, administration and management of school activities was invited to improve the faculty 's classroom management skills and familiarise them with various beginners activities and games which an educator can play in the class to make their learners active and energetic .Ms. Pallavi Singh beautifully explained the meaning and usage of Classroom Management skills. She explained that Good classroom management isn't simply about keeping everyone in their seats and quiet. It's about building strong relationships with your students, encouraging them to take part in their own learning, and sharing a little of yourself. A classroom culture that is good for kids is good for teachers, too.
This Training Course was perfect for all of the staff and it is something that every employee should practice. The session covered that By successfully managing your classroom, you can increase student success and create a productive and cooperative learning environment. Effective behavior management plans allow students to get the most out of their time spent in school and ensure that you maintain your sanity.

The aim of the Faculty Development Program is to improve faculty perception on the value of teaching increasing motivation, and enthusiasm for transforming Classroom Management skills.
Honorable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel believes that such sessions for the faculty ultimately will result in a better teaching and learning environment.

Teacher Enhancement Programme

On 28th September 23, CT Public School organised a training session for the kindergarten staff and the teachers of grade 1, on the topic 'Phonics. The resource person for this session was Mrs. Pallavi Singh who was warmly welcomed by our honourable Principal Ma'am ,Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur.

Mrs. Pallavi Singh has 12 years experience in teaching, administration and management of school activities.
The staff was apprised about the teaching phonics skills ; it has 44 sounds where it is very important to know the phonological awareness of the sounds and how to read a topic and as well as to improve the spelling mistakes. She also explained that phonics is taught in six phases. In the first phase the environmental, instrumental and rhythm are taught to the preschoolers. In the second phase of phonics CVC words and some high frequency words which are very beneficial for the vocabulary building. In the third phase double letter words like blends and phonograms are taught to the students. In the 4th phase the recapitulation of phonic words as well as cvcc and ccvc words are taught to the students. In phase 5, Graphemes or replacement sounds are taught to the students. Phase 6 helps the students in reading maximum words automatically, where they are also taught spelling rules, adding suffixes and using contractions and apostrophes.
She further explained that listening activities should also be done in the classroom to enhance students' listening skills.

The seminar was very fruitful as the phonic teaching rules and methods were explained very nicely.

Story Telling Time

Story telling activity enhances the knowledge of the students.
Mrs. Khushboo narrated wonderful story to the students of Nursery class. The story was The red riding hood and the wolf.Through the story children were made aware that we should never trust strangers. The mysterious story narration took the students in the fantasy world of imagination of characters and beautiful scenes.
Through story telling children learned various skills like presentation skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, listening skills, etc. that enabled them to grasp the the idea of the story with much clarity and conviction.
