October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, a global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
A meeting was conducted by Worthy Principal ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel with the Senior Faculty members of CT Public School after Parent-Teacher Meeting to discuss matters that require higher-level decision-making.
The teachers provided the consolidate feedback from all the subject teachers to the parents about the overall performance of their wards.
The teachers provided the feedback of parents after PTM to Ma'am and addressed important issues, raised by parents, related to school and their child's education.
Principal ma'am implemented recommendations and offered additional support to teachers, fostering the growth and success of the students.

To empower the senior students of CT Public School, worthy Principal ma'am, Mrs Anuradha Chandel managed to send the passionate students to the District Bureau of Employment to attend an interactive session on career counseling.
The enlightening career counseling session was hosted by District Bureau of Employment, on October 9, 2023, aimed at providing valuable guidance and insights to school students on their future career paths.
It was attended by numerous enthusiastic students from local schools, led by seasoned career counselors, Mr. Gurmail Singh & Mr. Navdeep with ample of experience in the field, the session was a resounding success.
The Key topics discussed during the session included self-assessment, exploring diverse career options, educational and training requirements, insights into current job market trends, and goal-setting strategies. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation from students through group discussions, and Q&A segments.
The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing newfound clarity and confidence in their career choices. The District Bureau of Employment expressed its gratitude to the dedicated career counselors, the participating students, and all those involved in organizing this valuable session.

To ensure that all the departments align their efforts with CT Public school's mission and goals, a meeting of it's first kind was conducted on 7th October, 2023, by worthy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel with the heads of the various departments like transport, hostel, supporting staff, admin staff, security staff, mess staff etc.
She took feedback from all of them and evaluated their strategies to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding school policies, goals and initiatives.

CT Public School organised one interactive session for its educators to polish their classroom management skills . Ms . Pallavi Singh educator who has 12 years of experience in teaching, administration and management of school activities was invited to improve the faculty 's classroom management skills and familiarise them with various beginners activities and games which an educator can play in the class to make their learners active and energetic .Ms. Pallavi Singh beautifully explained the meaning and usage of Classroom Management skills. She explained that Good classroom management isn't simply about keeping everyone in their seats and quiet. It's about building strong relationships with your students, encouraging them to take part in their own learning, and sharing a little of yourself. A classroom culture that is good for kids is good for teachers, too.
This Training Course was perfect for all of the staff and it is something that every employee should practice. The session covered that By successfully managing your classroom, you can increase student success and create a productive and cooperative learning environment. Effective behavior management plans allow students to get the most out of their time spent in school and ensure that you maintain your sanity.
The aim of the Faculty Development Program is to improve faculty perception on the value of teaching increasing motivation, and enthusiasm for transforming Classroom Management skills.
Honorable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel believes that such sessions for the faculty ultimately will result in a better teaching and learning environment.

On 28th September 23, CT Public School organised a training session for the kindergarten staff and the teachers of grade 1, on the topic 'Phonics. The resource person for this session was Mrs. Pallavi Singh who was warmly welcomed by our honourable Principal Ma'am ,Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal Ma'am, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur.
Mrs. Pallavi Singh has 12 years experience in teaching, administration and management of school activities.
The staff was apprised about the teaching phonics skills ; it has 44 sounds where it is very important to know the phonological awareness of the sounds and how to read a topic and as well as to improve the spelling mistakes. She also explained that phonics is taught in six phases. In the first phase the environmental, instrumental and rhythm are taught to the preschoolers. In the second phase of phonics CVC words and some high frequency words which are very beneficial for the vocabulary building. In the third phase double letter words like blends and phonograms are taught to the students. In the 4th phase the recapitulation of phonic words as well as cvcc and ccvc words are taught to the students. In phase 5, Graphemes or replacement sounds are taught to the students. Phase 6 helps the students in reading maximum words automatically, where they are also taught spelling rules, adding suffixes and using contractions and apostrophes.
She further explained that listening activities should also be done in the classroom to enhance students' listening skills.
The seminar was very fruitful as the phonic teaching rules and methods were explained very nicely.
