Declamation Contest (Hubs of Learning)
A PLACE FOR NURTURING EXCELLENCE IN LEARNING
CT Public School, one of the best schools in Punjab,
has always been at the top among all its competitors in the district. Being the Lead Collaborator School of the Hubs of Learning, CT Public School promotes excellence in learning and shaping the future of tomorrow. To cater a platform to the confident Public Orators, a virtual Inter - School Declamation contest was conducted on 31st May ,2021 which was dedicated to Anti Tobacco Day. The students from the different schools presented their views, to spread awareness to highlight the risk associated with the use of tobacco, with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The results of the competition are as follows-
*Category A ( Class 8)**
Kashish Seth dazzled the competition with an auriferous performance bagging the First Position,Kashvi got Second whereas Aryan Rana bagged the Third position.
*Category B( Class 9)*
Suhani won the First position, Sameer stood Second and Surabhi secured the Third position.
*Category C ( Class 10)*
Priyanshi and Divine won First position, Shourya stood Second and Sunreet Kaur bagged the Third position.
The young prodigies were congratulated by the authorities. There was a live presentation presented by the Science Department to aware the youth about the ill effects of drug addiction.
The Poster Making competition was also organized on the same theme ( Anti Tobacco Day) .The students made very beautiful posters on the theme ' Tobacco-A threat to Development 'by using beautiful colours .An anti tobacco pledge was also taken by the entire team of Hubs of learning.

Lemonade Activity of Senior KG
CT Kindergarten Senior KG organised online lemonade activity today.
As the summer is on its peak, so the little tiny tots were taught online how to make lemonade.
Lemonade is the drink of choice for countless people—and now you can use it to teach your little ones the scientific method! This fun science activity for kids allows children to make their own lemonade while following directions, making a hypothesis, and collecting data through observation.Kids love lemonade, but they will love making it themselves almost as much as drinking it. Children and mothers enthusiastically participated in this online activity which was great fun for them.

CT Kindergarten Junior kg organised online Jaljeera Activity today.As the summer is on its peak, so the little tiny tots were taught online how to make Jaljeera. Jaljeera is a nutritious drink for keeping the body cool in Summer.This fun activity for kids allows children to make their own Jaljeera while following directions, making a hypothesis, and collecting data through observation.
Kids love jaljeera but they will love making it themselves almost as much as drinking it. Children and mothers enthusiastically participated in this online activity which was great fun for them.

This fun activity for kids allows children to make their own drink while following directions and instructions.
Kids love Rasna and Rooh- afza but they will love making it themselves almost as much as drinking it. Children and mothers enthusiastically participated in this online activity which was great fun for them.

IELTS SESSION BY CT GLOBAL
The world is full of wonderful things you haven't seen yet. Don't ever give up the chance of seeing them. And this beautiful chance can be provided to you by CT Group's new venture ie. CT Global Education Services.
A virtual session was conducted by CT Public School to introduce the concept of bringing CTGES for students. As these days, most of the people aspire to go abroad either on study base or to settle and to meet this demand, with a legacy of 24 years, CT Group is introducing IELTS+ which nobody else in the market has started with. This program will assist students by giving certification related to skills which will help them to find a related job so as to manage their expenses.
Mr. Major Singh, a certified trainer discussed different modules like listening, reading, writing and speaking skills certification in IELTS which would make them eligible to apply their file for study visa.
Mr. Tarun Sharma, spoke about Immigration services which the students will be able to avail under one roof (starting from IELTS preparation to visa filing and further making arrangements related to hostel/pick up from airport in abroad).
CT Group is known for its customer centric approach wherein the quality service is provided along with outstanding result. It was a great interactive session for the students as well as the faculty members.

SESSION ON MENSTRUAL HYGIENE FOR GRADE VI-VIII
"Menstruation is not a problem, poor menstrual hygiene is".
Menstrual Hygiene is vital to the empowerment and well being of women and girls worldwide. On occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day ,CT Public School organised a virtual session on "Menstrual Hygiene" through online platform. Dr. Ritu Dev , resource person of this session aquainted the girl students with adequate sanitation facilities and access to feminine hygiene products.Furthermore she added that by not having access to menstrual hygiene management can keep girls home from school during their tough time each month.
Our honourable Vice Principal mam Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur extended her warmest thanks to Ritu Dev mam for serving the students with the best knowledge about menstrual hygiene.
Worthy Principal Sir Mr. Daljeet Rana proceeding on this track also added that It is significant that we should create a culture that welcomes discussion and makes adequate education for women and girls regarding the same .

Felicitations to 100% Attendance in Live Classes
Punctuality and regularity are the two fundamentals of a successful career. Teachers are the foundation stones of a child’s future. Therefore, they take up responsibility of guiding the students on the correct path in order to live a prosperous life ahead. Improving daily attendance in school is synonymous to achieving better academic results. A regular and punctual student understands the chapters, grasps the concepts and follows the classwork in a better manner. On the contrary, students who frequently miss their schools, usually lag behind in their studies. Students with 100% attendance for the month of May from Classes VI-VIII were felicitated. The Principal of the school, Mr. #Daljeet Singh congratulated them for their regularity in the school.

CCS ACTIVITY OF CLASS VIIB

Our school has started Coding and Computational Skills course for this academic year. Students of Grade VIIB are learning MIT App Inventor in CCS Classes these days. They have showcased their learning by making an app with the help of Image, Buttons & VerticalArrangement components. They have added functionality of switching the image from day time to night time, on and off the bulb by clicking on buttons with the help of block programming. The creative skills of the students were appreciated by the Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh.

MORNING ASSEMBLY
Virtual morning assembly to begin the day with a smile
CT Public School, under the able leadership of , Mr. Daljeet Rana, the Principal has taken the initiative to conduct the virtual morning school assembly as he believes that it sets the day and paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality. It was held in two different slots:- one for classes 1 to 5 and another for classes 6 to 12.
With regular Assembly being held virtually in the morning, it welcomes one and all to the virtual school as the premise resounds with the prayer, followed by the pledge, thought for the day, news Headlines ,speech on National Brother’s Day and announcements. This brings in the discipline factor thus playing a major role in making our students prompt and punctual and it also inculcates the sense of responsibility in them towards their peers and towards the school community.The response of the students,parents and teachers was overwhelming

TEACHERS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME
An orientation programme was organised for the teachers of CT Public School Jalandhar. It was conducted by *Ms. Kriti Chopra* best trainer of lead school app. She laid stress on effective teaching for children. She also gave tips on how to nurture a child with love and care ,how we can interact with the children. The main focus of this session was to provide effective approaches for efficient classroom management. She explained that in the online classes instructions should be cleared. Teacher can use gesture or promote students to use gestures. She emphasized that teacher should always encourage their children in a positive manner. The basic focus of the session was changing mindsets. Teacher should become aware of the winds of change and train students to adopt to them. She suggested that teachers can arrange virtual tours.
The staff members were very much inspired by the session .The session was very inspiring and enriching.
At the end of the session Principal sir ( Mr.Daljeet Rana) and Vice Principal Ma'am (Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur) appreciated Ms Kriti chopra and addressed all the staff members.

BREATHING SESSION
As the second wave of covid-19 rages on, Meditation practices are becoming more widespread in world because of their positive impact on the brain and mind.
To take the initiative, a virtual Breathing session was organized by CT Public School on 23rd May, 2021,that aims to provide the much needed spiritual and emotional comfort in these times of abject fear, grief and uncertainty.
The resource person Mr. Arjun Gaur , an International Life Strategist ,Author and Founder at Lifez Honour India, has put together a special set of breathing exercises and meditations that would boost lung capacity, improve immunity and provide deep relaxation to the mind.
He taught us that mindfulness practices can result in improved physical and psychological health, behavioral/self-regulation, interpersonal relationships and work performance.
The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana on behalf of the Management thanked him and said that during this challenging time, we all have to be brave and keep our strength and faith intact .The Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur further added that it is the need of the hour to discover the natural remedy for stress, old pain, and grief to experience greater clarity, connection and sense of wellbeing.

STORY TELLING ACTIVITY
Storytelling activities are a great way to allow students to express themselves freely and creatively in an authentic and real way.
The story telling activity was done by the students of grade third. They presented different stories in Hindi in a creative way, they made charts and depicted the stories on it.
Their efforts were appreciated by Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Ms. Sukhdeep kaur and HOD Ms. Neetu Seth and subject teacher Ms. Priya.

In the modern times children are more inclined to eat junk food.They avoid eating healthy food and enjoy junk food ,which is not good for the health. So an online activity was conducted where children should eat fruits which is good for the health. This online activity was very helpful for the children as they got motivated to eat fruits which are very nutritious for the health and growth.
Even the parents were very enthusiastic, that such type of activities should be on the regular basis which helps their children to eat healthy food rather then consuming junk food.

YOGA SESSION
Yoga adds years to your life. And life to your years".
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being".
An online yoga session was conducted with full fervor by Ms. Bani Chawla , where students, teachers participated with passion and keenness. Students started their day with some yoga asanas??????
The online session started at 6:30 am in the pleasant morning. Along with more than forty students teachers also participated with great enthusiasm. In this session Ms. Bani Chawla along with Ms. Hema Bhasin demonstrated asanas and explained importance of yog. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas like Anulom Vilom, , Butterfly Aasan, Bhujangasana, Taad Aasan, Ardh Sarp Aasan, Tree Pose Aasan, Airplane Pose, Trikon Aasan, Omkar chanting followed by Gayatri Mantra.
The International Yoga trainer Mr. Manjur Ahmed also joined us and shared his life journey.
Overall it was a wonderful beginning of the day.
#The Principal #Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal #Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur congratulated all the teachers and the students for successfully accomplishing the session. Principal sir encouraged all the students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration. He further added that regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur said that during this crucial time where everyone is locked down in their homes and feel low and depressed, only Yoga can help them to overcome their problems and tensions .

Alumni Talk
CTPS has a rich legacy of 24 years and since then had accomplished many targets.
Success is a combination of desire and passion, and with that being said, the school has created among all children this value and have implemented in their academics to perform excellently in their respective subjects. We are really proud to see that our students are well placed in life and have a wonderful career.
CT Public School, is a place where the children learn a whole gamut of subjects such as the more serious and attention-seeking ones like the science and maths to the ones that we learn while we are merely practising them like sports and art, is a hub of all the activities.
Today 15th Virtual Alumni Talk Show was conducted in which our beloved Divyansh , Parjot Singh. Sarabjit Singh, Himesh Verma, Taranjeet Kaur, Ritika Moudgil and Krishanvir Singh had a hearty talk with their teachers. The students mesmerized their happy moments spent in CTPS and the great mentors they had, who helped to transform their lives.
