KG WING ACTIVITY ON EARTH DAY

"Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed."
The United Nations celebrates the day as International Mother Earth Day. It is marked the day with the theme - “Harmony with Nature”.
CT Kindergarten celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm. Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal mam Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of students. Students and the parents actively participated in this activity, parents shared their feedback and reviews . All the human beings should be well aware that, our Earth is getting polluted day by day. So it is our moral duty to work and save our earth by planting more and more trees making it more green and eco friendly, so that the future generation get clean environment to live.

Morning Assembly

A Morning is a wonderful blessing either cloudy or sunny. It stands for hope, giving us another start of what we call life.
The atmosphere of the school is so quiet and calm during the morning assembly. All the students and teachers stand in the ground. The closed gates remind latecomers to come on time. As the Drum beats all the students fall in line.So, Morning Assembly was conducted in CT Public School to motivate the students.
School's morning assembly is the best platform to encourage the students who have achieved something in academics or extra-curricular activities. Students and teachers were encouraged for their work done in the classes : House board decorations and Class board decorations.

INTER HOUSE POETICAL RECITATION & DECLAMATION COMPETITION HELD IN CTPS

On the occasion of Earth Day, CT Public School organized an English Declamation Competition and English Poetical Competition.

The students of different houses participated in the competition with zeal and enthusiasm. This competition was organized to sensitize the children on the issue of environment protection as the condition of our Mother Earth is in a declining state and it is our responsibility to teach the children to save our planet. It is rightly said that "We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children ". It is our duty to pass the bounties of nature as a legacy to the future generations.
Students expressed their views in form of declamation and poem recitation.
In the English Poetical Recitation Competition, the first position was bagged by Meenal Sharma from Nelson Mandela House followed by Eknoor Kaur from Mother Taresa HOUSE as second whereas Harjeesimar from APJ Abdul Klam HOUSE and Guransh from Mother Taresa bagged the third position.
In the English Declamation Competition, Suhani from Nelson Mandela House was placed first followed by Riva Talwar from APJ Abdul Kalam House as second and Kashish from APJ Abdul Klam house secured the third position.
Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated the winners for their strenuous efforts for exhibiting excellent performance in the competitions and enlightened the students to conserve and preserve the Earth and the ecosystem.
Principal, Mr. Daljeet Rana along and faculty members took an initiative to inspire students to plant more trees for the protection of mother Earth.

Robotics Workshop

CT Public School organized a ‘Robotics Workshop’ for the students of Classes VI-VIII. Mr. Harmeet Singh, Deputy Director, IPR Cell, CTU along with Student Ambassador were invited to share their wider knowledge with the students. It was an interactive session in which students learnt the concepts of programming required in Robotics.

Gagandeep Singh brings laurels to his alma mater

 The objective of the Sainik Schools is to prepare the students to lead as officers in the Defence Services of the country. The schools select smart and promising students through a national entrance examination and mould their personality in order for them to become leaders of the Nation.

Gagandeep Singh, a proud student of CT Public School has been selected in Sainik School, Kapurthala for the trainings and finally for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA). He states that the teachers of CT Public School have helped him throughout his preparation for the same .The Principal, Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal congratulated Gagandeep and felt proud of the faculty and the students in bringing laurels to the alma mater. The school is very proud of his achievement.

Workshop on Spoken English

According to a research, India has the second highest number of English speaking population in the world and understanding the most common grammar mistakes can help you improve your writing and speaking skills, only when you know which common grammatical errors to look for.
CT PUBLIC SCHOOL has always been ahead in taking such initiatives. Today an eminent personality, Ms. Anukiran Khanna, Founder of St. Claire's Institute and Enn Library took a session on grammatical errors and their solutions. She interacted with the students and engaged them in a very interesting manner. She covered the aspects related to correct structure of a sentence, formation of questions, usage of adjectives, various forms of verb, etc. The session ended with a positive note as the students very well understood the importance of English grammar in their lives. If students start learning from an early age then it will be very easy for them to grab the things and memorize the concepts for later.
The Principal , Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal, Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur were elated by her presence and said that her wise words helped magnify the cause in the best possible way. The session was a huge success. The students thanked her for enlightening tips that inspired all of them.

Meeting with Transportation Team , Drivers, Conductors and Attendants.

The Principal, Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal, Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur held a meeting with Transport Incharge Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Drivers and Attendants of the school at the onset of the new academic session (2022-2023) on 16th April 2022. The updated Code of Conduct as well as Safety Measures to be followed were discussed to ensure security and safety of students.
Following important points were discussed:-
*No usage of cellphone by the driver.
*Parents can call the conductor only.
*First aid is compulsory in school vehicles.
*Proper Water arrangement for students.
*Licence and proper documentation should be ready at all times.
* Uniform is compulsory for all drivers and attendants.
*Speaking politely with parents is mandatory.
*On monthly basis the best Driver and Conductor would be recognized.
*One sided roots will not be allowed for students.
The drivers should be aware of the happenings at school and must check all social media handles.

Visit of KG Wing teachers to First Grade

 "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”* Education is the first step for people to gain the knowledge, critical thinking, empowerment and skills they need to make this world a better place.

Kindergarten teachers visited Grade first students to make them feel at home and they showcased their love and affection as they had enjoyed same time in Kindergarten.

The students were excited and happy to see their teachers. They shared their experience in their new class and they were full of energy to learn in the senior wing.

Baisakhi celebrations in CT Kindergarten

 Baisakhi or Vaisakhi is one of the most popular harvest festivals in India. It is mainly a Sikh festival celebrated especially in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh with great zeal and enthusiasm. It also marks the commencement of the Sikh new year and Sikhs pay tribute to their tenth guru, Guru Gobind Singh. CT KINDERGARTEN students participated with great zeal to celebrate this festival. Students performed dance, rhymes dressed in traditional Punjabi attire.
Principal Mr. Daljit Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of all the students the students and wished everyone Happy Baisakhi.

Baisakhi Celebrations

 “Amidst the rich harvest Across the lush greenery Baisakhi has arrived In all its majesty.”

Festivals bring joy and happiness. Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the festivals with great fervor and gaiety and to acquaint the students with the rich culture and heritage of India, Baisakhi celebrations were held on 13 April, 2022 in CT Public School with great zeal.
The school premises were aptly decorated depicting the harvest season. The children came dressed in traditional Punjabi colourful outfits with ornaments and accessories. Through open discussions, they were briefed about various aspects of this festival of harvest. A lot of theme based activities were planned. Baisakhi festival is one of the favourable of all the Punjabis as this day wheat and Rabi crops are harvested .
Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji established khalsa Panth on this auspicious day which is memorable moment for all of us .
The teachers of Punjabi department encouraged the students to enjoy this holy festival and HOD, Ms. Ramanpreet Kaur with Ms.Kawalpreet Kaur, Ms. Jatinder Kaur and Ms. Sonia conducted the celebrations with all their efforts and motivated students to respect all the festivals well. The Principal ,Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal, Ms. Sukhdeep kaur appreciated their brilliant efforts and congratulated them for indulging the students in the celebration of this great festival.

New Session Begins - Warm Welcome Of The Students

With the commencement of another academic year 2022-23, CT Public School welcomed the students whose long awaited tender steps entered the campus with great zeal and zest to unveil the beginning of the new session.

The teachers alongwith authorities greeted each and every student with a warm smile,candy and a beautiful band tied on their wrist. From the perspective of parents, many feel it is a step forward despite the fear of Covid.Classroom learning is important to improve the social skills of our children.
For the students, back to school also means an opportunity to meet their friends after a long time and to do it with a grand welcome was an added bonus.

PARENT'S ORIENTATION IS COMBINED WITH A NOTION AND EXPECTATION OF PROGRESS

An Online Orientation Programme was held by CT KINDERGARTEN for the students and parents to help themselves to familiarize with their class teacher and their expectations, thus establishing a sense of feeling comfortable and accustomed. It's important to make the students feel basically confident and positive towards their work and environment leading to a greater probability for success and help them to optimize their previous learning experience. The teachers motivated the students and familiarised them with the new syllabus, how to maintain notebooks and diaries. They apprised them with various rules and regulations regarding discipline in order to foster better relationships between students and teachers and between students themselves.

CT Public School holds Sukhmani Sahib Paath to invoke God’s blessings

SHRI SUKHMANI SAHIB PAATH was organised in the premises of CT Public School on 5th April, 2022 with the pious intention of seeking the blessings from the Almighty at the beginning of the new academic session , for the betterment and upliftment of the school. On this pious occasion our co chairperson, Ms.Parminder Kaur Channi ,Principal ,Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal, Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur offered their prayers and thanked God for always showering his kind blessings on the school students and the Staff members.Everybody paid obeisance and took blessings from the God.
Besides the path, shabad gayan done by the staff members filled the entire ambience with holiness, spiritualism and optimism. Karah prashad was distributed among all the students after the ardaas .The Principal ,Daljeet Rana advised students to follow the principles of the Gurbani in their lives and cultivate the values of humanity.

The students of CT Public School, class IX ,have accomplished their English Spoken Course on Learn Vern app.The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana appreciated the students by saying that with the help of Spoken English course and by regular practice students can improve their English language in short duration. Students have very well understood the importance of English in their lives. If students start learning from an early age then it will be very easy for them to grab the things and memorize the concepts.
