Rashtriya Poshan Maah

The month of September every year is celebrated as the Rashtriya Poshan Maah or the National Nutrition Month across the country. The Ministry of Rural Development (M/oRD) is leveraging this occasion to intensively disseminate key messages to all intended beneficiaries on positive nutritional behaviours and practices. Assam CM Launches Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2022, Calls For Public Participation To Turn It Into Mass Movement.

CT Public School took initiative to celebrate Poshan Maah. For this teachers of science department interacted with students and explained the importance of balance diet in their life. The Principal, Mr. Daljeet Rana , Vice -Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of HOD Science, Mr. Sanjesh and the Science Department .

National School Safety Program

"The Desire for saftey stands against every Great and Noble enterprise "

National School Safety Programme (NSSP) is a 100% centrally demonstrative project. It is being implemented by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with Ministry of Human Resource Development on pilot basis in 43 districts of 22 states/UTs of the country falling in seismic zone IV & V. 200 schools from each of 43 districts are targeted under this project.

A meeting was conducted with the members of National School Safety Program at CT Public School to promote a culture of safety in the school. The following members attended the meeting :-

The main objective of NSSP is to initiate policy level changes for ensuring safe school environment and to sensitize children and the school community on disaster preparedness and safety . Various ways and means to implement the program were discussed among all the members for betterment of School.

Different clubs framed for NSSP were introduced to committee members

and the purpose behind their working was illustrated.

The Committee members were urged to assist in different activities and drills to be conducted in school for sensitisation of Students about different conditions on disaster.Emphasis was laid on participation of key stakeholders in activities and drills.

The Principal, Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal, Ms Sukhdeep Kaur stated that the main vision of-the activities to be conducted at school is to develop a culture of disaster preparedness in students.

The meeting was very purposeful and ended on a positive note.

 

Teacher's Day celebrations

The occasion was graced by the presence of our humdinger honorable Chairco person Mrs.Parminder kaur channi ji along with Principal sir Mr. Daljeet singh Rana Vice Principal Ms.Sukhdeep kaur .They distributed small token of love to all the staff members.The function ended with a beautiful vote of thanks given by Principal sir to all the teachers and they highly appreciated the activity incharge Ms.Bhawna arora for arranging this wonderful function so smoothly.

 

 

Teacher's Day celebrations

CT Public School students organized an event on the occasion of teacher’s day which is also known as the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event was held at the school’s assembly ground. The program started with an amazing dance performance by Haradhya kaur from 4th B class.After that our Principal, Vice-Principal and many teachers lit the Diya lamp. A female student announces all the events happening on stage one by one through a mic. A group of 8 students also performed group dance on the theme of Teacher’s Day. After that, students gave a token of love to the worthy Principal sir and Vice- Principal mam. After that our principal sir gave a passionate speech on the theme of Teacher’s Day. Some other programs were also presented by the students. On that day, senior students took on the responsibility of teaching as a gratitude to our teachers. All the teachers were given a decorated rose flower and chocolate by the students. In the end, all the students thank all the teachers for providing a great education.

Special Session on Personal Hygiene for girls

A short awareness session on the personal hygiene for girls was conducted at C T PUBLIC School by Jagnit Kaur a member of Proctor and Gamble a leading MNC company on 31 August 2022.This session aims to demonstrate the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene and illustrate the importance of comprehensive cleaning to maintain a good health and a better personality in a certain society. Personal hygiene is important for many reasons, for instance, to have a better personality, a good health, for social reasons and for psychological issues. Good hygiene perpetuates a nice image of an individual in a society. Emphasizing on good personal hygiene can reduce a risk of many social, metal, and health problems. It can boost one’s confidence and reflects a positive image of that individual to others.

Students understood the importance of personal hygiene.Vice Principal Mrs .Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of  School.

 

Brain Stroming Quiz Competition

Students were asked various questions related to their surroundings, food, school, clothing. The teams enthusiastically participated in the competition. Team Performers bagged the first position and team Achievers bagged the second position.  Consolation prize was given to team Challengers . Principal Mr. Daljit Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students.

CT kindergarten celebrated Yellow day

 Yellow, the colour of sunshine is hope and happiness. Stands for freshness, positivity intellect and joy.

The motive of celebrating this day was to make the kids aware of the colour yellow, its significance and to develop the fine motor skills in the students. The day began with fun filled introduction concerning the colour yellow.

Students were all dressed up in different hues and tints of yellow.

Calligraphy Activity

 Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It is the design and execution of lettering with a pen, ink brush, or other writing instrument. A contemporary calligraphic practice can be defined as "the art of giving form to signs in an expressive, harmonious, and skillful manner".

Story Telling Activity in CT Kindergarten

Principal Mr. Daljit Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of the children. 

Virtual Session on Cyber Security

 In order to sensetitize students about Cyber Security, an interactive virtual session was conducted in our school under Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas. The students of VII were the audience for this enlightening session which was presided over by Mr. Varun from IBM Skills. As the crime related to the internet is growing day by day, Mr. Varun spoke about maintaining certain rules and regulations while using social media, like not disclosing financial and social status while making friends with anyone on social media. He also specified that morphing others photographs, sending malicious emails or mocking someone on social media are punishable crimes and the Police can actually trace the people who create fake ID’s and indulge in such crimes. Further, he warned the students to be extra vigilant while making friends on social media.

Deworming Camp

 A mass deworming camp under the National Deworming campaign was conducted in CT Public School on 20th of August. According to the administration, albendazole tablets were distributed for those between 6 and 19 years of age in the school campus. Deworming helps prevent nutritional deficit in children, according to the administration.

Story Telling Activity in CT Kindergarten

 CT Kindergarten organised online story telling activity to enhance the knowledge of the students.
Through story telling children learn various skills like presentation skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, listening skills, etc. that enable them to present ideas with much clarity and conviction.

It opens up the vivid imaginations that runs wild in children and it also builds confidence and enhances speaking skills. Children had great time today in this online activity.

Training Session on Ownership and Work Ethics

 CT Public School, Jalandhar organised a Training session on 'Ownership and Work Ethics' on 13th August, 2022.The resource person was Mr. Rishabh Sharma, Deputy Director HRDC ,Life Skills Coach and Corporate Trainer.
The objective of the seminar was to ensure that we should develop work ethics such as being on time , positive attitude, positive body language required in our professional career. Many other contents were also discussed such as importance of success, skills required for the prosperity of the company and country , to develop intimidate office relationships, Coming out of your comfort zone etc.

Independence Day at CT Kindergarten

Saluting India's Independence Day where every bud blooms it's beautiful colour and each day is this celebration of unity and harmony.

Little tiny tots performed beautiful dance on the different patriotic songs and narrated rhymes, sang songs , and presented speech showcasing their love for the nation. The children were full of enthusiasm to showcase their talent .
